Subject: [Esapi-user] ESAPI Hackathon / Bug Bashing Contest

Attention all,

ESAPI is extending the hackathon started last month at AppSec USA in NYC.
In addition to providing controls for the new ESAPI 3.0 interfaces, we
are also extending it to bug bashing and documentation needs of ESAPI 2.x.

The hackathon / bug bash contest will run from Friday, December 20, 2013
to 11:59pm US/Eastern on Monday, January 20, 2013.  First prize is a
new Apple iPad Mini and lesser prizes will also be awarded.

Full details, including the rules, are available on the OWASP wiki at:
    <https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Projects/ESAPI_Hackathon>

and also available for public viewing on Google Drive as a PDF at:
    <https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3Yc2oc1Z9n5bzNXU2xMLVBCbE0/edit?usp=sharing>

Also note, that the hackathon / bug bash is focused on the Java implementations
of ESAPI 3.0 and ESAPI 2.x. If you wish to contribute to some different
ESAPI version (e.g., ESAPI for PHP), or have any other questions, please
direct them to myself or Chris Schmidt.

Thanks,
-kevin
