I attended a meeting in DC on this SANS initiative this AM and Aspect is
helping with the question bank, etc. I'd be glad to share what I know
about this effort with the attendees.

I do plan to attend since it is on Weds now.

I would like to clarify a few things. 

Two of our chapter members gave talks (not one)
At lest one of those members i have talked to and he is willing to go
over his preso with us
(for the other member, ping me if you see this)

Sans has a rather interesting new secure programming initiative under
way. (with some big names backing it).  This should answer allot of
peoples prayers if it is executed properly (which it most likely will
be).   Thanks to the member who brought this to my attention!

I would also like to run a quick idea by everyone. We have more then a
few people who would like to show up at ALL the owasp meetings, but due
to the fact that they live, work, play in DC they do not have cars
(public transportation works!).  Would anyone one be willing to help
these folks out by picking them up at various metro stops and bringing
them to meetings?  Would some sort of "carpooling" system help people
out? That being said let the ideas flow people...

Update:


Looks like Dinis will not be able to make it to this wed's meeting.  We
will most likely be going over shmoocon (some interesting talks,
including one given by a chapter member). 

If anyone has a topic they would like to discuss feel free to bring it
to the meeting, or send it to the list before hand.

Everyone please take notice, we will be moving the date of the meeting
to Wed March 28th!!!

The reason for this 1 day shift is that we will have Dinis Cruz giving a
presentation on OWASP, SpoC, as well as his latest research on .NET.

This months meeting will take place on March 29th at 6pm in Aspect
Securities office in Columbia, MD.  As of this movement there are no
firm presentations or topics lined up for discussion.  This will most
likely change in the next day or two.   If anyone wants to present or
has an idea for a discussion please feel free to ping me. 



This meeting will be held at Aspect Security's offices in Columbia MD.

As usual, geek food will be provided. This usually means pizza and soda.

Getting there:
Aspect is located at 9175 Guilford Road (Suite 300) in Columbia. Driving
directions are:

>From I-95:

    * Exit 38 B : Rt. 32 West towards Columbia (1.5 miles)
    * Take the Broken Land Parkway exit
    * Turn left off the ramp onto Broken Land Parkway
    * Turn left at the light onto Guilford Road (0.5 miles) 

After a sharp left, enter the parking lot at 9175 Guilford Road. [Note:
if you go under the bridge, you've gone too far]

We're on the third floor in Suite 300
