[Owasp-washington] Meeting Wed March 28th 6pm Columbia ***DATECHANGE!!****

Not that I'm the one who brought it up, but I would like to jump on the
bandwagon...

I have been involved with the SANS programming security tests effort.
This morning was actually the public kickoff down in DC. There will be
exams in Java, C/C++, Perl/PHP, and ASP/.NET. There will also be a
general exam of universal secure programming concepts. The URL is posted
below.

The idea is that testing and certification is another activity that can
ultimately contribute to increasing software security.

SANS is still looking for help developing the question bank. (In total,
they need thousands.) I think especially in Java, which is the area I'm
focusing on.

Ps. I may not be able to make the meeting at all. I have an overlapping
commitment. If I can, I'll swing by for the last hour of the meeting.

Pps. Matt Fisher is still alive. I saw him this morn at the SANS thing.
