Some of you expressed interest in the SANS secure programming assessment
exams. Here is an email where SANS is calling for help. They're looking
for a few people to review the test blueprints for C and Java and rate
the categories in the docs. This will help create tests that accurately
reflect the topics that are important to real-world development.
The review and rating should take 15-20 minutes.
Hope you are doing well. I received your name from Alan Paller at the
SANS Institute as someone who is knowledgeable secure code practices. As
you may already know, the SANS Institute is creating examinations for
their Secure Programming Skills Assessment certification.
In order to ensure the quality of this examination, SANS has created a
test blueprint that outlines the job duties and tasks required for
competent job performance. If you can spare 15-20 minutes, SANS would
like you to review the test blueprint and provide feedback about how
well it represents the activities performed by people who write secure
code for this language.
If you could complete the survey below and send it back to me by 5:00pm
EDT on April 20th, we will use your input to shape the direction of this
examination. When you send it back, please include your last name in the
filename.
