TOPIC: How to Test the Security of Web Applications

This session aims to help you organize and execute security testing for
web applications in a consistent manner. We will review the OWASP
Testing Framework and the OWASP Testing Guide and discuss how you can
use them to increase assurance that your web applications are secure
from known threats. Tools and techniques will be demonstrated as they
relate to the testing methodology. Please bring questions - the goal is
to make this something practical rather than just a "nice presentation."
The types of tests that will be covered are:

- Information Gathering
- Business Logic Testing
- Authentication Testing
- Session Management Testing
- Data Validation Testing
- Denial of Service Testing
- Web Services Testing
- Ajax Testing
