Leaders, yesterday I sent out a note about the merchandise request form.
Today I would like to RESEND an announcement that was initially distributed
in December.  This time, the focus is on an RSVP and membership tool for
your chapter and “OWASP gear”

You can get OWASP Gear for your local chapter (branded with the chapter
name, even) by buying directly from Rocksports and charging your local
chapter account!  

Also, get rid of the email folders your using to manage your chapter
meetings and move to RegOnline.  It’s free for you!

First of all, the foundation has been working with a new vendor to
facilitate ordering of “OWASP Gear”  You may have, in the past, checked out

You can access this store through the “Get OWASP Gear” link in the
navigation bar on the front page of the wiki.  One think you will notice are
discount codes for “bulk ordering.”  This means that you can use your
chapter funds:

Secondly, the Foundation has adopted a new registration system that will
provide functionality for each chapter to host its own “events.” This system
will integrate with a membership program to help you encourage participation
and membership.  You will have complete control over your own RSVP and
invitations.

 

If you have an upcoming chapter meeting, please contact me so I can help you
get set up in the new system.  The goal is to have ALL (yes, that’s
everyone) chapters using this system by the end of Q1 2011!
