Yes,
I believe it should be interesting to have a word to say about it.
Maybe a concentrated OWASP action about his matter should be made. This concerns more OWASP european chapters... but it is a transversal issue for all OWASP.
Someone interested in producing a join document (Statement of Opinion) about this issue?
