There are one pagers for some projects. They are typically located on
the Documentation tab.  Throwing together an overall data sheet and then
including these one-pagers would be very powerful.  I'm not sure who
created these, maybe the project owners themselves. But it would be a
good requirement to add for release projects - a requirement for a one
page handout summarizing the project.

I totally agree, Dinis - the info is all there, it's just needs to be
put together.

 

I'll take a stab at it over the next week or so and post my Alpha to
this list.

The good news is that most projects these days have an 'Project
Information Template' (the blueish table that Paulo has been
implementing for the past 12 months), so we can get from there a
standard 1 line/paragraph description of those projects. There is also
the latest version of the OWASP Projects PPT presented in Poland last
week

It would also be important to keep an updated Press page
(http://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_EU_Summit_2008--PRESS) and Media
Coverage page
(https://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_EU_Summit_2008_Media_Coverage),
like we did for the Summit.

I'm CCing this to the owasp_pr_project at lists.owasp.org list to see if
they want to take this on board.

I'm getting some folks from the media asking about OWASP through the
podcast.

 

If I mention ESAPI folks are like "huh?" but if I mention that OWASP is
spearheading a series of OSS libraries dedicated to web application
security, folks are like "cool!" - and this goes for all OWASP acronyms.

 

Do we have some kind of "one pager" that I can use for media inquiries
that explains the latest and greatest projects from OWASP in plain
