guys.. honestly, who will take a lifetime membership about anything?

i like the model up to 3 years membership.... more than that i think it 
becomes too much of a compromise for OWASP as well...

I like it, but I'd lower lifetime to $500. I think $1k is way too much.

With the economic crash, OWASP pulled through by lowering it's price for 
membership.
I think it's a great thing, but can I add something?

How about offering this model?
1 Year Membership   $50.00
2 Year Membership   $95.00
3 Year Membership   $135.00
5 Year Membership   $200.00
Lifetime Membership $1000.00
EPL Lifetime Membership   $1000.00 (40 payments of $25) 

This way the smart ones will buy the 5 year or lifetime to avoid price 
increases in the future.
With a model like this, I would start the precidence and be the first to 
get a 5 Year Membership.

As leaders, we should all be contributing. I plan on making it a 
requirement for all my local committee members.
Shouldn't this also be a requirement for OWASP On-The-Move Money and 
Applying for Season of Code funding?

 I am curious as to what others think, any input is valuable.
