I'm not saying we shouldn't "support" it, but rather that jumping through
non-standard hoops to make things look good or to provide above-average
functionality to NN4 is a waste of time, and very likely a mistake.

Not explicitly, no. Give NN4 the "degraded" version. The site degrades,
right?
