I have found some other recent published whitepaper in SANS in Malicious
code areas, it would be a good
reference.

In addition, I do suggest going for specialist role and you could take SANS
certification, pursuing to publish a whitepaper in SANS by paying 300 USD
and a supervisor will be assigned to you for guidance. In addition, SANS
certification could grant you newly updated materials set when you renew
your certification via CPE reporting or retaking the exam at only around
350- 400 USD for every 4 years. They update the training materials for every
4 months a year. Be frank, it is rather better than other certification and
professional.
