Cisco Solutions Engineer - CT

Our Client is a premier systems integrator and a leading provider of
network, systems and telephony solutions. Our Client represents the
solutions involving the products of vendors including Cisco, EMC, Sun, HP
and Microsoft. The winner of numerous industry and vendors awards, we are
proud to hold Cisco's master specializations in both unified communications
and security. 

Our Client is seeking a presales engineer to provide technical support to
the sales team in Connecticut area regarding primarily Cisco-based
solutions. The solutions engineer needs to have skills and experience in
developing bills-of-material and scopes-of-work; delivering product
presentations and demonstrations; developing proofs-of-concept; evaluating
customer infrastructure readiness. The candidate must have extensive post
sales experience in the systems integration business and must already be an
experienced presales engineer with excellent presentation and writing
skills.

Duties and responsibilities include: accompanying account managers at
customer meetings, determining appropriate solution sets to business
problems; delivery of solutions; contributing to sales team effort by
delivering technical presentations and demonstrations; developing
proof-of-concept efforts; accomplishing follow-up efforts for client
delivery as needed; developing and implementing checklist to determine
client site-readiness for recommended technology; assisting in system
analysis; identifying sales requirements by establishing a personal rapport
with technical influencers and decision makers; preparing reports by
collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information; maintaining technical
knowledge by attending Cisco and other educational workshops and reviewing
Cisco publications.

The candidate engineer must have extensive Cisco Unified Communications
product line knowledge and experience alongside high level skills in routing
& switching and wireless (Cisco security and data center a plus). 

Certification as a CCNP or CCVP is required; CCIE is preferred. Candidates
must have strong written and verbal communication skills; be client focused;
service driven and able to multitask.
