[OWASP-Columbus, OH] Columbus, OH OWASP Chapter - Leadership News

Dear Columbus OWASP Mailing list members,

Hi everyone. It has been awhile since our last chapter meeting and I 
wanted to share some news about my involvement with the Columbus, OH OWASP 
chapter. I am stepping away from the chapter to focus on some personal and 
professional goals of which application security is not the central focus. 
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the chapter and I can attest to the 
exponential growth in appsec knowledge I have received from OWASP, the 
chapter meeting presentations, and interacting with others at chapter 
meetings.

I have reached out to the other chapter leaders (Greg Green and Chris 
Green) and we have determined that the future of the chapter hinges on 
someone or a company that is willing to step up and take on the primary 
leadership / sponsorship role.

If anyone on the list has interest in leading the chapter ? please send me 
an email at hayesc8 at nationwide.com. If I do not receive any responses by 
1/8/2010 ? I will advise the OWASP board that our chapter should no longer 
be considered active and that it be removed from the OWASP website.

Thank you to those of you that have supported the chapter by attending 
meetings or preparing meeting presentations. I really hope that the 
chapter will continue!
