My name is Bill Chu and I am a faculty member at UNC Charlotte. My research interest is in software security / assurance. One of my current research project is ASIDE plug-in (Assured Software IDE plug-in) for Eclipse. We just submitted a proposal to OWASP to make it an open source project. We also launched the first OWASP student chapter and I am very interested injecting software security issues through out the computing curriculum at UNC Charlotte and beyond.

Your name
->Christopher Hudel
What you do relative to Web Application Security
->I used to a lot of this, leading (then) First Union's ethical hacking / penetration testing team. Now, I am wanting to move Application Security more into the SDLC lifecycle. I am currently the Director of Information Security for LendingTree, so I have some other infosec items on my plate too...
What you hope to get out of the local chapter
->Keep current with latest and greatest: both technology and people.
