[Owasp-board] Committee Goals and Foundation Strategy

Board,

Michael, Kate and myself had a discussion today:

Currently we have individual committee goals which are great, many thanks.
Much thought and effort have gone into them, great.

They have been reviewed by most of the board at this point and shall be open
for public debate soon (I believe).

The foundations 2012 strategy (as opposed to mission), is in effect, the
direction OWASP is taking for the coming year.
The committee goals need to feed into and support the foundations strategy
for 2012.

The board has not yet defined strategic goals for 2012 and we need
to achieve this via open discussion and opinion.

This shall help feed into funding decisions, as all activities will not be
weighted as much towards our 2012 foundation strategy.

If the board agrees, can we (the board) each define (3) strategic foundation
goals before the next board meeting. This shall impact the focus on
committee goals and also funding decisions.

Does this make sense? Please chime in.
