Hi Joshua,

I've set up for you the new OWASP assessment frame. It is here
<https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Category:OWASP_Live_CD_Project> and, of
course, you must feel free to change it as you find best.

Regarding you question and assuming that your new project will be a
development of the OWASP Live CD 2007, I suggest writing down here
<https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Category:OWASP_Live_CD_2007_Project_RoadMap
> your new roadmap. After having reached the assumed goals, the project
ought to be assessed accordingly the new OWASP
<https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Category:OWASP_Project_Assessment>
Assessment Criteria.

However, if you prefer to begin a very new project, I can set it up for you
as well. Just let me know.

I will be here you have further questions.

Many thanks, regards,

Paulo Coimbra,

Subject: Process of starting up a new project

Hey Paulo,

As brad mentioned earlier, I'm thinking of forking the liveCD project,
letting Matt continue with the LiveCD 2008 project as the tool based CD. The
new Phishing Framework will be based on a LiveCD as well, but not focused on
keeping all the tools and documents updated as it will be used as the
phishing framework/assessment tool.

What is the process of making this an Official OWASP project without being
part of Summer of Code? I'm not looking to get paid for doing this as it's
something I see very useful, and already gained a lot of positive press for
OWASP.
