Hi all,
This is what I posted to the OWASP PHP mailing list a short time ago. We
are a Brisbane based company. Thought you might be interested to hear
what we are doing.
"I lead the Freeway eCommerce project www.openfreeway.org The project is
a fork from osCommerce, so therefor GPL. Before you start complaining
about the mess, please know we are absolutely committed to complying
with Visa PABP and also want to do a security review of the application
and then ruthlessly remediate. We are prepared to put the resources to
the task of making Freeway an extremely secure eCommerce application. It
would be great if there were some community focussed OWASP PHP security
experts willing to help us in this effort. Ideally we would work with
you to start from the ground up ending with an automated test suite run
against each new build of the application.
We have already done some interesting things like extending eCommerce to
services, event and subscriptions. We are now working on mobile
eCommerce, booking services and their transactions inside calendaring
applications, 2D barcoded event ticketing etc.
Sound interesting? Let me know if you would like to participate."
Same offer, if you are interested in becoming involved, please do let me
know.
Cheers,
Damian Hickey
