[Java-project] Project Update

A quick update on the Java Project

* The project is well underway
* There has been a significant amount of interest in the project that is
reflected through the tremendous talent pool subscribed to this mailing
list.
* Now its time to execute. We are making forward progress on some critical
parts of the project viz. the Noteworthy Frameworks section
* If you are interested in volunteering or owning a piece of the project
please let me know.
* I would like to see this mailing list as an active channel of discussion;
so if any of you come across something you want to share with others in this
realm get the ball rolling (call for   ice breakers!)
