[Global_conference_committee] New Conference Management System

Current Conference/Event Planners for 2011,

The Global Conferences Committee is beginning to use a tool to manage
requests for OWASP events and event support.  As each of you already have an
event on the dockett for 2011 and have coordinated it with us, I have added
all of your events to the system and pre-approved them.  In the future,
anyone wishing to host an OWASP event will be able to signup via the system
and register their event for GCC approval.  This system will be the
"gatekeeper" for all OWASP resources, registration, financial resources,
contracting, OWASP "mothership" marketing, and most tangibly, updating the
OWASP Event Calendar.

Right now all of the events are registered under my account.  *Please to go
http://ocms.owasptools.org/accounts/register/ and setup your account *so I
can add you to the planning teams for these events.  Once I've added you to
the planning teams, you'll be able to update the event yourself as
information becomes available (Ofer, I put in dummy dates for Israel this
year as you weren't sure when you could get the venue for September).
 You'll also be able to add others (assuming they have OCMS accounts) to
your planning teams so they may also edit the event.

The functionality of this system will be improved in the future.  Admittedly
right now this is primarily a tool for the GCC to take in the myriad of
requests for support we receive, vote to approve, and manage these events.
 The system was developed in a modular way so we can incorporate items such
as event feedback, CFP, CFT ect to the system in the future.  Also, going
forward, please submit any new events/event support via this system.
