Hello Mark,
I was asking about feedback to authors that respond to the conferences Call
for Presentations. I know this may be handled by Easychair, but I would like
to understand what kind of feedback has been provided. For Appsec Brasil
2010, our program committee assigned grades (1 to 10) to several criteria we
defined. There was not a textual feedback on what could be improved in the
proposal, for example, and no need to explain the grade assigned to each
criteria.
I understand that having evaluators write down the reasons for each grade
would provide better feedback for the authors, but many revewers declined to
participate (usually at or very near the deadline) due to lack of time and
we may increase this problem if we required more work from the reviewers.
Thanks,
Lucas
