Hope you are ok and apologise for this delayed answer.

 

As for your question, I believe the appearance problems might be the result
of the different formats that we have used to create this book. You have
created a standard word document but I am using the so called “Crown Quarto”
lulu size which is 18.91cm x 24.589cm. So, if I may, I suggest you create
and send me off a new word file with the given Crown Quarto measures so as
to I re-upload it.

 

In the current book’s version, I am using the word file uploaded in your
project’s main page/main links -
http://www.owasp.org/images/d/d4/Rails_Security_2.doc.

thank you, it really looks nice now. I also ordered a printed copy:  

nice:)

What I noticed although: The table of contents is somehow messed up and
there are no page numbers. Also, several images are simply black, not so
nice.

Can you send me the original Word file with the cover and so on, so I can
change the images and page numbers? Alternatively I can send you the image
files again.
