Hello Eoin, Dennis and Dinis,
Hope you are well.
I am writing to ask you if you could find the spare cycles to review ASAP
the OWASP .NET Project. Fortunately, Mark has completed his part and to
close this phase the project only needs your reviews.
As you know, the reviewed SoC deadline was reached last Monday, 16th of
March.
I thank you in advance, regards,
Paulo Coimbra,

Paulo,
I've uploaded my presentation to the OWASP Wiki, and it is available here:
http://www.owasp.org/index.php/Image:OWASP_dotNet_2008.pptx
[pc] I thank you for uploading the presentation Ive upload it at your
projects page/Project main links.
Could you please update your self-assessment
http://www.owasp.org/index.php/Project_Information:template_.NET_Project_-_F
inal_Review_-_Self_Evaluation_-_B to match the circumstances of today?
Also, would you mind updating this link
https://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_.NET_Project_-_Assessment_Frame by
stating which quality level has been reached?
I'm happy to continue contributing to OWASP, specifically OWASP .NET,
regardless of the status of the project in terms of SoC 2008. I'd love the
extra money, but it is not my primary motivation.
[pc] I am glad to hear so. As I said before, I suggest contacting the
reviewers ASAP to ask them to perform their task. If they also state that
only the PowerPoint was missing to reach Quality Status, I will recommend
the projects payment.
In fact, I was going to request that my compensation for helping on the
Enigform project be used to pay for my membership fee for this year
(anything over the fee can be kept for operations). Is this acceptable?
[pc] Yes, its acceptable for me. I will contact Kate to see if she also
agrees and can handle your request.
Best regards,
Mark

Dear Mark,
I thank your update regarding the project completion status and your
explanation about the happy reason that has forced you to minimize your time
on the project. I am also very glad to hear that you still like to
contribute, to retain the position as project lead and would like push
forward and continue to work with OWASP we are definitely counting on it!
As you know OWASP depends entirely on contributions like yours.
Having said all the above, in operational terms, the.NET project hasnt
reached its SoCs target, Release Quality Status, within the given reviewed
deadline, 16th of March.
However, having into account what you have stated in your self-assessment,
we are just missing the Powerpoint, I propose finishing it up as soon as
possible and contacting the reviewers to ask them to perform their task. If
they also state that just the PowerPoint is missing, I will recommend the
projects payment. However, please pay attention that decision is not mine
and the OWASP Board and the Projects committee may think differently and so
I am carbon copying them to check out their position. I believe we can
assume their hypothetical absence of response as agreement.
Many thanks, best regards,

Paulo,
I update the wiki with my final review:
https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Project_Information:template_.NET_Project_-_
Final_Review_-_Self_Evaluation_-_B
I have bits of a presentation that I had prepared for Portugal that I will
clean up and post to the project for the Release requirement this week.
On a closing note for the project, I would still like to contribute and
retain the position as project lead. With the birth of my daughter in
October and the time demands for the first couple of months, I had to really
minimize my time on the project. I think I've got my schedule figured out
now and would like to push forward and continue to work with OWASP. I still
want to make OWASP .NET a home for hobbyist and hard-core info sec folks
alike, if you guys still need help.
Regardless, I am thankful for the opportunity that OWASP afforded me on this
project.
Regards,
Mark Roxberry

Hello Mark,
I thank your swift and positive answer. So, in that case, we will be waiting
for the projects final deliveries before March 9th as you said. Please make
sure this new and last deadline is respected and let me know if you think I
can be of any assistance.

Importance: High
Dear Mark, Eoin, Dennis and Dinis,
Hope you are well.
I am writing to challenge you to give your project the needed final push to
complete its Summer of Code 2008 stage.
Even if the OWASP Summer of Code final deliveries were expected to be ready
to be presented in the OWASP Summit
<https://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_Summer_of_Code_2008#Updates> i.e. by
November, 4th, 2008, it has been agreed that all projects totally completed
until Monday the 16th March can still be paid. Thus, please make a last
effort and find a couple of cycles to close this matter and allow us to send
you off the second part of your much deserved payment.
Regarding the due tasks to complete your project (Release Quality target
<https://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_Summer_of_Code_2008_Projects_Authors_
Status_Target_and_Reviewers> ), as far as I can see, the following are still
due:
- All the four (4) Final Reviews are missing - Mark, Eoin, Dennis
and Dinis. See here
https://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_.NET_Project_-_Assessment_Frame.
To conclude, as the new season of code must be launched as soon as possible,
we absolutely need to move forward and close the Summer of Code 2008. I take
the opportunity to challenge you as well to begin thinking about your new
application.
For now its all. Many thanks.
Best regards,
Paulo Coimbra,
