Hello Georgy,

I thank your feedback and regret the news about the impossibility of
finishing the project up within the reviewed deadline.

However, it’s good to know that the work is almost done and the project will
be finished in a couple of weeks. If I may, even if the project is now
outside of the OWASP Summer of Code 2008, I recommend having the project
self-assessed and reviewed by Nam and Huy as soon as it is finished. Please
keep me posted and let me know if you think I can be of any assistance.

I also suggest thinking about presenting a new application to the
forthcoming season of code.

It was a pleasure working with you and thank you for supporting OWASP.

Best regards,

Paulo Coimbra,

Hello Paulo, Nam, Huy.

Unfortunately I haven't finished the all the planned work before the
specified deadline.

I finished the part responsible for full language support and analysis tweak
and started work on reporting and docs.

Paulo, I'm very sorry that I'm late to finish this project. Most work is
done and as I also need to finish this work it will be finished in a couple
of weeks.

It is my fault that I'm late, so I understand that I won't be paid. Anyway
I'll try to finish it as soon as possible before the new season of code.

What about tasks needed by assessment criteria. Currently there are build
scripts in Ant and run scripts (.bat, .sh) and more convenient build script
(.sh) only for Unix systems. User documentation is at work.

Nam, Huy, I think that because the main changes are connected to python code
processing, you won't be able to see any significant changes, so it is not
very necessary to do a quick review. But if you are interested, you can try
new statements support (generators, list comprehensions,
generator-expressions, inner functions, function/class/method copying like
def f(): ... g = f).

Best regards,

Georgy.

Dear Georgy, Dmitry, Igor, Nam and Huy,

Hope you are well.

I am writing to challenge you to give your project the needed final push to
complete its Summer of Code 2008 stage.

Even if the OWASP Summer of Code final deliveries were expected to be ready
to be presented in the OWASP Summit
<https://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_Summer_of_Code_2008#Updates> i.e. by
November, 4th, 2008, it has been agreed that all projects totally completed
until Monday the 16th March can still be paid. Thus, please make a last
effort and find a couple of cycles to close this matter and allow us to send
you off the second part of your much deserved payment.

Regarding the due tasks to complete your project (Beta Quality target
<https://www.owasp.org/index.php/OWASP_Summer_of_Code_2008_Projects_Authors_
Status_Target_and_Reviewers> ), as far as I can see, the following are still
due:

- Final Self-Assessment – Georgy,

- Final Second Review – Huy,

- Installer. Documentation. About box – as stated by Nam.

To conclude, I would like to make absolutely clear that we take your OWASP
contribution as an invaluable one and this email has not any kind of
punitive intention. However, as the new season of code must be launched as
soon as possible, we absolutely need to move forward and close the Summer of
Code 2008. I take the opportunity to challenge you as well to begin thinking
about your new application.

For now it’s all. Many thanks.

Best regards,

Paulo Coimbra,

OWASP Project Manager <https://www.owasp.org/index.php/Main_Page>
