Arnaud, would it be too much to add an additional assignment for you, perhaps to get encodeForSQL working using your new MySQL codec?

If it's OK to assign, getting encodeForSQL working should probably be higher in priority than your other current assignments.

I'd overlooked that the encodeForSQL in the DefaultEncoder hadn't yet been implemented, I think that'd be helpful for users to get that working sooner than the crypto stuff.
